Academic activities of Chandpur Medical College started on 10th January 2019. The academic and administrative activities of the college are temporarily running on the 4th floor of the 250 bedded General Hospital Chandpur Hospital Chandpur. Chandpur Medical College is a Govt. There is government approval to admit 50 MBBS students per academic year. Student admission process has started from 2018-2019 academic years. 200 MBBS students are studying in this college till the academic year 2021-2022. We have adequate number of teachers, well organized departments, rich library and separate hostels for male and female students. The process of acquisition about 30 acres of land at Gachtala in Chandpur city is in progress for setting up a permanent campus of the college.
